The condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated on following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.
Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.
First owner kept the boat in Italy/France. She was owned by an elderly couple who did little serious sailing more marina hopping.
The second owner (Australian) cruised to Greece, sailing mainly the Aegean for summer months only laying up ashore each season at Planaco, Aegina Island.
The current owners bought her for a 6mth sabbatical, launching in June 2023 sailing west to the Ionian, Montenegro and back to the Ionian, using her only for 2 ½ months. 2024 has seen many details and some upgrades effected prior to sailing from Prevaza around the Peloponese, Cyclades and into the Turkish Dodocanese before laying up once again in Leros.
Listed below are the documents/or copies of what we have seen on listing this yacht.

The HANSE 461 is both. Having won "The Most Innovative Yacht of the Year" the 461 may be difficult to define as it can't be pigeon holded. The 461 is as fast as it is beautiful, aggressive when racing, and gentle and forgiving on a family trip. Ease of handling by the owner and accommodations for up to seven make the HANSE 461 an obvious choice.
We consider her in good condition for her age. She has an excellent layout, design, and quality build materials not seen in newer yachts. She is stiff and powerful and comfortable and smooth in a seaway.
The cockpit table has been removed to leave an altogether better cockpit that very much improves short handed sailing. The sailing instruments have been relocated to the pods attached to the helms. The table parts remain but are stowed if required in the future.
